During the sounding of the seventh trumpets, there will be: 1. The outpouring of the last bows or vial of the wrath and judgement of God and; 2. The great and final battle of Armageddon Introduction Introduction The word Armageddon means the mount of Meggido (place of troops/ slaughter). It is symbolically the place where the battle of the great day of God Almighty shall be fought. It is the scene of final conflict between Christ and the Antichrist
Armageddon has a historical significance was there: because it 1. Barak defeated Sisera (Judges 4: 22) 2. Saul's army was defeated by the Philistines (1 Samuel 31) 3. King Josiah, while fighting against Necho, disguised himself, and the king of Egypt was slain (2 Chronicles 35:20-27; 2 Kings 23-29). Introduction Introduction During the battle of Armageddon, Satan and his cohorts will mobilize forces to fight Christ and to frustrate His coming again to establish the millennial reign just the same way he used Herod in his attempt to kill Christ at His first coming.
