Define the following a) Cling film- A thin transparent plastic film usually used for wrapping food. b) Luminous object- Objects that emit light are known as luminous object. c) Noise Pollution- Loud and unpleasant sounds hurt our ears. These unpleasant and harmful noises result pollution.
Question/Answer Q1- How is sound produced? Ans- Sound is produced by an vibrating object. Vibrations are produced when we speak, laugh and clap. Q2-What is shadow? Ans- When an object blocks light, a dark shape is formed . This dark shape is called shadow.
Q3-Write any two ways to reduce noise pollution. Ans- (i) Do not play loud music. (ii) Do not set off loud firecrackers.
