Understanding Jurisdiction and Standing in Adlaw Cases
Differentiating between jurisdiction and standing in the legal context is crucial for navigating adlaw cases effectively. Explore how theories of standing are applied and grasp the concept of ripeness in agency settings. Delve into the significance of access to courts, exemplified by the Juliana v. U.S. climate lawsuit, and understand the essential role jurisdiction plays in legal claims, as illustrated by the Federal Tort Claims Act. Gain insights into the original jurisdiction of the Supreme Court and the legislative scope of Congress in shaping jurisdiction and standing within constitutional boundaries.

Contact either your job coach or Laura Weller There is a site visit handout available for you on the website
