One Who Sows Discord Proverbs 6:16-19
Jesus prayed for our unity (John 17:20-21). Paul commanded our unity (1 Cor. 1:10). The Holy Spirit prescribed our unity (Eph. 4:3-6). One who sows discord attempts to destroy this unity!
To sow is to send away, broadcast, scatter or spread. Thus, we are talking about someone who spreads or scatters something. Discord is strife, a lack of concord, disagreement, dissension, conflict; arguments, fighting or quarreling. One who sows discord is literally one who causes trouble, starts fights, a trouble-maker, a bully. What is Sowing Discord ?
