The #Wenqin (#文琴) is a
combination of traditional
Chinese folk instruments,
invented by Wen Zhengqiu (文正
球) in 2002. The name means
"Wen's zither".
The elements of guqin (古琴),
guzheng (古筝), erhu (二胡),
sanxian (三弦), konghou (箜篌)
and more are combined in one
instrument! The wenqin comes
with 4 different sizes.

The bianzhong are constituted by altogether 64 bells, which are hung at three levels and are divided into eight groups. (19-33-12) The biggest bell is of 153.4cm high and 203.6kg weight. The smallest bell is of 20.4 cm high and 2.4kg weight. Each bell can play two tones with three degrees interval.
