General Objective and Priorities tackled - To foster European citizenship and to improve conditions for civic and democratic participation at European Union level - Encourage democratic and civic participation of citizens at Union level, by developing citizens' understanding of the Union policy making-process and promoting opportunities for societal and intercultural engagement and volunteering at Union level - Debate on the Future of Europe Brussels 8 October 2019 - Evangelista Leuzzi TIPS4EU Project Coordinator Suhindol (BG)

4. Specific Objectives To bring the existing European Participatory Tools (EU Elections, Petitions, Citizens' dialogue, Citizens' initiatives, Volunteering, Civil Society Organizations, Debating Europe, Consultations and Feedbacks) closer to disadvantaged citizens, by giving them the instruments to have their say at EU level and directly work for changing their communities and their own lives. Methodology - Integration of non-formal and formal methodologies - Simulations and role games (EU Parliament and Elections, consultations, ) - Generation of a multiplier effect: training of 22 young citizens, who became the Neet Workers and increased the impact at local level Brussels 8 October 2019 - Evangelista Leuzzi TIPS4EU Project Coordinator Suhindol (BG)

6. Methodology The Neet-Workers - Learned about EPDT (European participatory Democracy Tools) - Organized 11 Local Campaigns, to inform the citizens about these tools and promote their use and implementation - Animated the discussion on the Future of Europe - Collected the feedbacks from their communities about the Future of Europe Brussels 8 October 2019 - Evangelista Leuzzi TIPS4EU Project Coordinator Suhindol (BG)

7. Results Impact on: - Participants: 600 direct and 35.000 indirect citizens were involved - Organizations: they learned how to support citizens in have a say in Europe in a sustainable way - Communities: they felt closer to EU and its Institutions and recognized the Neet-Workers as local referring persons for improving their active participation at EU Level Brussels 8 October 2019 - Evangelista Leuzzi TIPS4EU Project Coordinator Suhindol (BG)
