  3. Do you have a clock? Draw it. What is the same? What is different?

  4. A clock has 2 hands The minute hand is long. The hour hand is short. Those look like arrows not hands!

  5. How do we read time? We read the hour by saying o clock I leave work at five o clock

  6. What does time to the hour look like? What do we say? The minute hand always points to the 12 The hour hand points to the hour It is 3 o clock.

  7. Ask someone what time it is. Find the hour on a clock.

  8. What does 1 oclock look like? Have a think The minute hand is pointing to the 12 The hour hand is pointing to the 1

  9. What does 4 oclock look like? Have a think The minute hand is pointing to the 12 The hour hand is pointing to the 4

  10. What does 8 oclock look like? Have a think The minute hand is pointing to the 12 The hour hand is pointing to the 8

  11. What are you doing at 8 o clock? At 5 o clock? At 12 o clock?
