This action is happened when waves throw
sand and pebbles against the rock.These wear
it away like sandpaper.

This pebble is smooth and rounded
Attrition
•
This action is forced when chunks of rock gets
knocked together and worn into smaller and
smaller bits.The end up as shingle and sand.
Solution
•
Solution is formed when sea water is slightly
acidic and dissolves soluble material from the
rock.
•
Makes pebbles weaker.
