They help plants
grow! Bees transfer
pollen between the
male and females
parts, allowing
plants to grow
seeds and fruit.
And they make
HONEY
Bees are flying insects and they have
their own queen
Honey bees live in hives (or colonies)
Bees can beat their wings
200 times
per second
!
The sad fact is…

The recent studies show a dramatic
decline of the bees' number as almost
90 percent of the bee population has
disappeared in the last few years.
•
"If the bees disappear, humans would
have 4 years to live," the famous
physicist, Albert Einstein said.
BUT WE CAN HELP !!!
•
Plant a mix of bee-friendly seeds and grow plants,
fruit and vegetables.
•
Many groups trying to help bees to survive.
•
Many celebrities have also joined the cause.
•
Morgan Freeman, the Hollywood star transformed
his huge 124-acres land in Mississippi, into a bee
sanctuary, in order to protect the species.
•
Avoid using Pesticides !!!
•
Keep water in the garden. Bees need water to stay
healthy and productive.
