Phases of Incoming First-Year Housing Assignments Phase 1 Apply to TCU Pay the Enrollment Deposit or get an approved waiver. For more information about this requirement, please contact TCU Admission at (817)257-7490. This must be done before you can access the Housing Application. Submit the appropriate Meningitis & MMR vaccination records to the TCU Health Center. For more information on this requirement, please visit: https://healthcenter.tcu.edu/new/. Phase 2 Apply for Housing Submit your Housing Application now until June 1 @ 8:00am (CST) via my.tcu.edu. The date you submit your housing application does not determine your room selection timeslot. Phase 3 Room Selection Saturday, June 19 Housing Room Selection is a one-day process on my.tcu.edu You will receive a randomly generated timeslot in your TCU email prior to June 12. Phase 4 Post-Room Selection Assignments & Waitlist Between June 21 and Fall Move In, the housing staff will finalize assignments and changes The waitlist change request sign-up information will be sent to your TCU email after the Room Selection.
Incoming First-Year Housing Application May 1 June 1 @ 8:00am (CST) via my.tcu.edu. The Enrollment Deposit or approved waiver is required before you access the housing application. The date you submit your Housing Application does not determine your Room Selection Timeslot. In the Housing Application, you will complete the following sections: Review/Accept the Academic Year Housing License Complete the Housing Survey Complete the First-Year Questionnaire Form a Roommate Group [if you have preferred roommate(s)] Your preferred roommate(s) must have a housing application on-file before you can add them to your Roommate Group. Acknowledge the first-year Meal Plan Select a Laundry Service *optional* You will receive an email confirmation within 24 hours after you complete the housing application.

Things To Remember for Incoming First-Year Housing Incoming First-Year students are required to live on-campus for two academic years! Classification for Housing is determined by years out of high school NOT credit hours! The exceptions to living on-campus as an incoming first-year student are: Living at home within 30 miles of campus with your parent/legal guardian. Please complete and notarize the Commuter Request Form. Over 21 years of age before classes begin Married and/or dependent children living with you Veteran Enrolled in fewer than 9 hours Please email housing@tcu.edu as soon as possible if you meet any of these criteria and include your name & TCU ID
Which residence halls can I live in? Clark Doubles Colby (All-Female) Doubles, Triples Foster Doubles, Suites, Triples Milton Daniel (Honors) Doubles, Singles, Triples Moncrief Suites Sherley Doubles, Triples Waits *The rate for a space in the Commons is a higher price point than a traditional first year hall. Doubles, Suites, Triples Upper-Division Halls (The Commons* or PE Clark) Private bedrooms with XL-Full bed, shared restroom in The Commons Shared bedrooms & bathrooms in PE Clark
What are my room options in the First-Year residence halls? Double 2 person bedroom with 2 XL-Twin Beds; community restroom Suite 2 person bedroom with 2 XL-Twin Beds; attached restroom Triple 3 person bedroom with 3 XL-Twin Beds; community or attached restroom (noted on the Housing Portal during Room Selection) Single 1 person bedroom with 1 XL-Full bed; community restroom These spaces are very limited for incoming first-year students
Fall 2020 Move-In You will be sent a move-in timeslot for either Saturday, August 14 OR Wednesday, August 18. You will have the opportunity to change it to the other move-in day, pending availability. If you are participating Sorority Recruitment, you will be given a Saturday, August 14 move-in timeslot. Move-In Timeslots will be sent to your TCU email this summer.
