Objectives Students will be able to identify what an ar verb is in Spanish Students will be able to link subject pronouns with its appropriate ar ending Students will be able to conjugate ar verbs
Apuntes What is a verb? A verb is a word to describe an action. An infinitive is a verb that has not been assigned a subject pronoun. Apuntes Verbs in Spanish There are 3 types of verbs in Spanish. They all have 1 of these 3 endings. -ar verbs -er verbs -ir verbs home
Apuntes -ar verbs All verbs have a stem and an ending. -ar verbs are verbs that end with ar Examples: the stem is in brown and the ending is in red. hablar; to talk bailar; to dance cantar; to sing comprar; to buy

Apuntes Verbs in action There are three easy steps to conjugation. 1. Identify the verb and the subject you want yo and hablar 2. Drop the ar ending Yo habl 3. Add the new ending Yo hablo. I talk. hablo hablamos Hablas habl is habla hablan
