  2. WHAT IS SAFEGUARDING? Keeping people safe In this case, promote the welfare of young people and protect them from harm If you think that a young person is at risk of harm, you will need to take action to try and protect them You can do this by keeping in regular contact with your teacher/support worker and keeping to your schools processes Also teaching young people how to stay safe

  3. CONFIDENTIALITY Keeping other people s information private What is said in the room stays in the room Unless someone is potentially at risk of harm and it is necessary to pass on the information to keep them safe

  5. YOURE NOT ALONE! Work with your teacher/support worker Chat with other cyber ambassadors

  6. QUIZ 1. What are some consequences of sexting? 2. What should you encourage someone to do if they have been sent messages that are malicious (threatening, violent, offensive)? 2 answers a) Delete the messages b) Screenshot the messages c) Report the messages d) Reply with another malicious message 3. Name any good websites that contain information on cyber safety 4. Give us your one top tip that you would give to your classmates
