Benefits of new chatbot Market trends HKU BU City U The ITSC AI chatbot is a virtual assistant powered by Azure AI that can communicate with users and provide automated responses The AI chatbot augments user service by generating natural interaction and enhance user experiences by delivering accurate and instant responses HKU, BU and CITY U also developed AI chatbots for IT support HKU BU City U
Design and Development Process Research & Planning We conducted thorough research to understand the technical requirements, data base collection, interface design, and develop a detailed plan for testing and application enhancement Design & Prototyping We aimed to replace the old IT chatbot (which was developed on 2020) and provide a new AI-base chatbot for user to collect information about the ITSC services. The data source are coming from the ITSC A-Z guide and ITSC webpage Development & Testing Our skilled development team implemented the chatbot using Azure AI technologies and rigorously tested its functionality and performance. We condensed the weblink database of ITSC A-Z guide and webpage to build a 700 entries database Deployment & Optimization We seamlessly integrated the chatbot into the ITSC website and continuously monitor and optimize its performance. We also invited student helpers for user acceptance test to enhance the result accuracy

Future Developments New Chatbot function If there is new feature (e.g. voice input) for the Azure AI engine, we may need to integrate it to the Chatbot Enhance database when there is a new IT service When there is new IT service launches, we need to add the web link into link into the Chatbot database Enhance processing algorithms Continuously advancing algorithms to understand complex user queries queries and deliver more accurate and context-aware responses
