IMPROVING AFFORDABILITY & ACCESS TO HEALTH CARE Effective the first day of the pay period following ratification by both parties, through June 30, 2024 all BU8 employees enrolled in a state-sponsored health benefit plan shall receive a monthly payment of $260, regardless of party code enrollment. Payment shall not be considered as compensation for purposes of retirement.
UNION - MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE ON STATE PAYROLL SYSTEM Establish a union management committee to advise the state controller on planned and anticipated changes to the state payroll system.
JOINT LABOR MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE (JMLC) The primary goal of the JLMC is developing various 11 work day (66 hours average work week) schedule and shift pattern options, replacing the existing 12 days of work out of 28 days. These will include schedules for all applicable programs, examples such as stations, air bases, camps, etc. Excluding 8.4 due to different work week. The JMLC will also address the recruitment and retention needed to staff the work schedule because of the planned 24 hours (1 day) reduction by November 1, 2024.
TRANSPORTATION INCENTIVES AND PARKING RATE Employees riding in vanpools or driving shall be eligible for a 100 percent reimbursement of the monthly fee up to the current monthly exclusion amount provided by the IRS.
EDUCATIONAL INCENTIVE PAY The state shall pay $150 (PERSable) per pay period to all permanent employees who meet at least one of the following criteria: Permanent employees who have been journeyed under the approved JAC program or who have been granted a journey-level equivalency, or permanent employees in fire protection classifications.
OPEB Prefunding of Post-Retirement Health Benefits: Effective the first day of the pay period following ratification by both parties, the employer and employee contribution will be decreased by one percent from 4.4 to 3.4 percent.
