  4. Take the time to inform New Registrants The following brochure (RBE has given our division to use theirs) should be attached to all new registration forms On the form there is a box when deciding to Self Declare

  8. Used for Baseline data to assist us in meeting the holistic needs of First Nations Inuit and Metis students to improve academic achievement Will be shared with the Ministry of Education -to improve outcomes Particular attention will be paid to graduation rate

  9. As a division, we cant make assumptions students are or are not of Aboriginal Ancestry Everyone will receive the Self Declaration from This will make tracking and monitoring our First Nations and Metis students easier

  11. As the 2014-2015 year continues, our division will be looking at our incoming FNM self-declared numbers (FNM self- declared student numbers 269) And continue to prepare our parents, teachers & the community for the importance of declaring
