18. 2 syllable words - activity 1 Can you write the words for each of these pictures? They are all 2 syllables. Use your phase 3 sounds to help you. Now can you add the sound buttons for each word? Sound buttons example: Can you write a simple sentence using each of these words. Remember to include finger spaces and full stops!

19. Activity 2 Say a word and your child should demonstrate the syllables. They could clap, jump, hop etc for each syllable. Role reversal. Explore words with 3 syllables. Can they tell you a sentence with this word? Activity 3 Read the sentences below independently and draw a picture to match. Talk about the syllables in the word and what the word means. Can you write the sentence underneath your picture? 1. The piglets are pink and asleep. 2. It is cold and raining. 3. I will go to bed tonight.
