Peer Assisted Learning
PAL is a student-to-student support scheme focusing on academic and personal development. PAL facilitators guide support sessions through discussions and interaction, aiding students in adjusting to higher education, understanding course concepts, enhancing study habits, building confidence, and improving communication skills. Student participants benefit from a clearer view of course expectations and open communication with higher-year students. Becoming a PAL session leader offers opportunities to develop leadership and communication skills, improve employability, gain confidence, revise subjects for deeper understanding, and receive certification of recognition, while experiencing the satisfaction of helping fellow students.
