Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) is a specialized field within Emergency Medicine offering two routes to subspecialty training, with competencies organized into domains and a competency-based assessment approach. Trainees undergo a one-year PEM training program with rotations in a Paediatric Emergency Department and a Paediatric Intensive Care Unit, providing opportunities for skill development, audit participation, and more.
