  2. AJV is an airline company operating between 4 different cities around the world, mainly Africa. AJV is facing cut throat competition from other airlines within and around the globe and would like to cut back on its costs while increasing profits. In order to maximize its profitability, one way to achieve this objective is to minimize the airplane s turnaround time. Turnaround time is the time that is measured in terms of the time that is between the plane s arrival and its departure. Factors included in the airplane s turnaround time are engineering checkup, baggage unload, baggage loading etc. The airline would want to choose airport with low airplane congestion. Suppose for each city: between Johannesburg and Gaborone 1 plane is required, Harare and Istanbul 3 and Istanbul and Harare 2 planes. The capacity of each plan is 350 people. The following table shows the time at which AJV planes are expected to arrive at terminal gates in the city airports listed below: AJV Ltd Company AJV Ltd Company

  4. Suppose the flight requires 20minutes for landing, 25 minutes for takeoff, 75 minutes (passengers checking process, baggage off and on load and engineering checkup, fueling, catering and cleanup) How can AJV minimize its costs and how many airplanes are re required at each destination?
