RESEARCH DAY 2007 The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology held its 20th DEPARTMENT RESEARCH DAY on Friday, May 4, 2007 at the Lister Conference Centre, University of Alberta campus. The J. Ross Vant Memorial Visiting Professor was Dr. Geoffrey Cundiff of Providence Health Care, Vancouver, BC. Research Presentation Winners: Best Basic Science Research Presentation: Dellice Berezan (grad student from Sandra Davidge Lab). Best Clinical Science Research Presentations: -Beth Gunn (Wyeth award) -Tiffany Wells (Women's Health Foundation award) Teaching Award Winners: Excellence in Clinical Resident Education (Richard Day Award): Dr. Dan Hodges Excellence in Resident Education Mentoring (Nan Okun Award): Dr. Heather Robinson Resident Teacher of the Year: Dr. Clayton Tuffnell Grey Nuns Teacher of the Year award: Dr. James Boulton Misericordia Teacher of the Year: Dr. Dwaine Larose RAH Teacher of the Year: Dr. Jonathan Tankel James Crooks Surgical Award: Dr. Clayton Tuffnell Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures Award: Dr. Clayton Tuffnell
