  3. USE PERMIT VS. OPERATION PERMIT Use Permit Operation Permit Compliance with Chapter 13, Commercial Cannabis Activities Compliance with Mono County Code 5.60 Cannabis Operations Compliance with state regulations Must satisfy Security Plan requirements per the Mono County Sheriff s Department Must satisfy Use Permit findings Must provide required documentation Must satisfy Ch. 13 findings (Site Control, Odor Control, Setbacks, Signage, Visual Screening, Lighting, Noise, Parking, Fire Protection, and Water Conservation) May be denied based on community opposition Annual renewal process Must provide required documentation

  4. APPLICATIONS ACCEPTED AT LDTAC Use Permit application: Apogee Farms 23555 Highway 6, Benton Proposal for indoor cultivation (10,000 SF) and processing (10,000 SF) User Permit application: InyoSol 210 Zach Ranch Road, Chalfant Application on hold

USE PERMIT APPROVALS (PLANNING COMMISSION) High Sierra Cannabis (Retail) Approved September 20, 2018 Located at 2555 Hwy 158 in June Lake Converted a portion of existing 1,400 SF of commercial building into cannabis retail store Tilth Farms (Cultivation) Approved December 20, 2018 Located at 108432 Hwy 395 in Walker Cultivation to occur on a 6-acre area within a 166-acre property and not to exceed 2-acres of total canopy area Canopy area will be divided between a medium outdoor grow and two smaller mixed-light cultivation areas Medium outdoor cultivation will cover up to 43,650 SF of canopy area Plants to be grown in hoop structure Tioga Green (Retail) Approved May 16, 2019 Located at 51005 Highway 395 in Lee Vining Use of existing 690 SF building

USE PERMIT APPROVALS (PLANNING COMMISSION) Walker River Farms (Microbusiness: Cultivation, Non-storefront Retail, and Distribution) Approved May 16, 2019 Located at 1129 Larson Lane in Coleville Activities to occur on a 0.2-acre area within a 395-acre property Cannabis canopy not to exceed 8,600 SF BASK Ventures (Cultivation) Approved June 20, 2019 Located at 474 Circle in the Sierra Business Park in Mammoth Lakes Governed by the Sierra Business Park Specific Plan Indoor cultivation to occur in a 21,858 SF facility designed to incorporate 18,067 SF of warehouse space for cannabis cultivation, 10,000 SF of which will consist of cannabis canopy and an additional 3,791 SF of office space Plants will be grown in individual light-sealed, climate-controlled rooms based on the lifecycle of cannabis and will include vegetative, flower, drying, processing/trimming, and storage/vault rooms

Bodie Hills Drive in Mono Basin Conversion of an existing medical grow into a commercial grow with a cannabis canopy of 500 SF Colitas Farms (Cultivation and Manufacturing Type 6) Approved October 17, 2019 Located at 324 N. River Lane in Walker Cannabis canopy not to exceed 20,000 SF Project includes 2 greenhouses, 1 immature plant greenhouse, 1 diffused light clone greenhouse, 2 oil extraction, drying, and processing sheds, 1 compost area, storage containers, 1 apartment barn, 1 accessory dwelling unit, 1 parking area, 2 lavender cultivation areas, 1 honey box, 1 one-way road with two access points, and perimeter trees
