In the Metro Marlins 2017-2018 season, practices are divided into three levels: Mini-Marlins (pre-team), Green Team, and Purple Team. Each level has specific requirements and practice schedules tailored to swimmers' ages and abilities. Mini-Marlins focus on basic stroke techniques, Green Team prepares swimmers for competitions, and Purple Team is for experienced swimmers aiming for excellence in competitive swimming. Practices are held on different days and times, with a strong emphasis on stroke mechanics, endurance, and performance expectations at each level.
