IMPLICATIONS OF NOT TAKING CERTAIN
SUBJECTS:
 
If you do not have a subject that is deemed ‘Essential’ for entry you will
not get into that course.
 
Example:
H4 Chemistry for Medicine in UCC

THE THIRD LANGUAGE
 
We are not producing enough language graduates!!!
 
All students take English and Irish (unless officially exempt)
 
The Third Language= French for majority of students here. Can also be another language e.g. Spanish,
Polish etc.
 
Must be a recognised language by the State Examinations Commission-

  7. HOW OPTION BLOCKS ARE FORMED Subjects are then placed in blocks based on the information gathered and the availability of resources Students are assigned to their choices. Most students will get their first three preferences Students are sent an online form to complete
