LARRY PAGES PASSION L arry P age's C hildhood w as filled w ith odd jobs and a lack of direction. H e had no idea w hat he w anted to do w ith his life, but he knew he hada passion for com puters. In 1989, L arry P age and his friend (Sergey B rin) founded G oogle in their dorm room at the U niversity of C alifornia, B erkeley.
HOW LARRY PAGE STARTED HID BUSSINESS In 1999, P ageexperim ented w ith sm aller servers so G oogle could fit m ore into each square m eter of the third-party w arehouses the com pany rented for their servers. This eventually led to a search engine that ran m uch faster than G oogle's com petitors at the tim e.
