Talent Management Workshop Aim of the session: To introduce and explore the concept of Talent Management within TWFRS, consider the internal and external business drivers and develop a deeper understanding of the ways in which the implementation of a new approach could benefit the organisation and its people. Learning outcomes of session: At the end of the session participants will be able to Define and explain the terms Talent and Talent Management Understand the business drivers for TWFRS in exploring Talent Management Consider TWFRSs current approach to Talent Management, sharing thoughts and views about how well or not we manage our talent #v645

  3. How should TWFRS define Talent Management? Compare / contrast the 4 definitions the organisations efforts to attract, develop and retain skilled and valuable employees. Its goal is to have people with the capabilities, commitment and behaviours needed for current and future organisational success. the systematic attraction, identification, development, engagement, retention and deployment of those individuals who are of particular value to an organisation, either in view of their highpotential for the future or because they are fulfilling business/operation-critical roles. the recruitment, selection, identification, retention, management, and development of personnel considered to have the potential for high performance. talent management integrates the HR functions of talent planning, acquisition, onboarding, performance, learning and succession into an interconnected whole. It provides the structure and tools necessary to hire, deploy, develop and retain the best people in their respective fields.
