If any benefits have been paid on a combined-wage claim, a condition for withdrawal
is the claimant’s agreement to reimburse the paying state.

Florida requires the claimant to signed a copy of the UCB-71. Once this is received the
Florida claim is cancelled and the overpayment is established.

When the appeal rights have expired Florida sends a request to the paying state for
their assistance with the recovery of the overpayment.

Overpayments resulting from the cancellation of a prior combined wage claim takes
priority over any other type of overpayment.
