MISSION INSPIRE North Dakota to address and mitigate the regional environmental threats to the state s agriculture production. 8 Project Overview

  9. Project Overview: INSPIRE-ND Goals and Objectives Project Goals Project Objectives INSPIRE-ND has five strategic foci, each of which has a set of agreed upon strategic objectives that will be outlined throughout this review: 1. Center for Sustainable Materials Science (CSMS)* 2. Center for Regional Climate Studies (CRCS)* 3. Diversity*,+ 4. Education and Workforce Development*, + 5. Partnerships, Collaborations and Communication* 1. Develop two new research platforms: Center for Sustainable Materials Science (CSMS) Center for Regional Climate Studies (CRCS) 2. Build infrastructure 3. Integrate research, education and human resources with workforce development initiatives to strengthen ND s overall competitiveness *As demonstrated in today s presentations, Cyberinfrastructure and Sustainability are embedded throughout each of the five strategic foci and is an enabling technology. +Emerging PrOgrams for WorkforcE Development, OutReach, Education and Diversity in ND (EMPOWERED-ND) 9 Project Overview
