Addressing the urgent challenge of sanitation in emergency camps, this solution introduces septic bags as a portable alternative to septic tanks. Developed by BORDA in collaboration with Oxfam and Genap, septic bags offer the same treatment efficiency as traditional tanks, are cost-effective, easy to set up, and environmentally friendly. The prototype has been successfully tested with plans for further field testing, design enhancements, and global distribution.
