SDSU Microsite Program Overview Community college students can now earn a San Diego State University bachelor s degree without having to set foot on an SDSU campus through a partnership with local community colleges. Many of today s students have full-time or part-time jobs, families, and other commitments, which is why SDSU and its partners have created new programs to fit the unique educational needs of those students. Through around-the-clock access to SDSU s online course offerings, and with additional SDSU student success services provided, students will attain a valuable degree from SDSU on their schedule. Upon completion of the program, students will be awarded an SDSU degree which will be identical to the degree earned by face-to-face students. 2

How It Works Student Services at the SDSU Global Campus Student Center Outreach & Nurturing In conjunction with college counselors, work with students through their consideration phase through application. Advising/Support SDSU Admissions Advisors will work with Transfer Counselors to guide students through the admissions process and orientation. SDSU Success Advisors will work with students from acceptance through graduation, offering academic advising, registration reminders and support, connecting with tutoring services, assisting with financial aid, and other SDSU services. Student Engagement SDSU Success Advisors will connect students with SDSU co- curricular support such as Career Services. 5
Miramar College Participation SDSU Asks Miramar to Provide: Marketing & Recruitment Promotion of the program to students. Working with SDSU Global Campus Marketing and Student Center teams to inform and encourage students. Transfer Advising Assist students in understanding how their prior coursework articulates to SDSU transfer credit specific to each program. Student Facilities Access Continued access to college resources such as library, parking, etc. for microsite students. Physical Space for SDSU Provide physical office and/or small group space for success advisors as well sa classrooms for optional tutoring sessions once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. 6

More Details SDSU Global Campus Marketing Services Strategy The SDSU marketing team will collaborate with partner on a recruitment and marketing plan. Collateral An assortment of co-branded flyers, brochures, FAQs, posters, etc. to assist the college in promoting programs. Content For use in social media, newsletters, and other channels for program promotion. Data Sharing Agreement- Pending completion of a data sharing agreement between SDSU and the partner college, email and other recruitment activities to joint student lists will be conducted in coordination with the college. 8
More Details Financial Aid All programs are eligible for Financial Aid*: Students may apply for financial aid without applying for admission to the University. Students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be considered for all types of state and federal aid. *Cost per unit: $450-550/unit, typically ~60 units for degree completion. Additional fees would apply for degree-specific costs. 9
More Details Accreditation All of the degree programs and majors at SDSU (in-person and online) are accredited via the WASC Senior College and University Commission. The WASC Senior College and University Commission is a regional accrediting agency that serves a diverse membership of public and private higher education institutions throughout California, Hawaii, and the Pacific, as well as a number of international institutions. 10
