Improving Pediatric Asthma Care in North East London: A Collaborative Approach
The North East London Clinical Commissioning Groups have formed a network to improve care for children with asthma following a critical review after a child's death. Strategies include workforce development, pathway enhancements, safeguarding measures, user involvement, and education/training initiatives. The network focuses on enhancing air quality awareness, school interventions, and tailored management plans for high-risk children. Collaboration between CCGs and acute trusts is key to ensuring better asthma care delivery in the region.
