The lyrics of "Paciencia Y Fe" from the musical "In the Heights" tell the stories of Abuela Claudia and Kevin Rosario, both immigrants motivated by different reasons to move to America. Abuela Claudia embodies patience and faith, symbolizing the hopes and dreams of many immigrants, while Kevin Rosario feels useless and struggles with the American Dream's pressure. Their narratives shed light on the complexities and motivations behind the immigrant experience.
