Armenian Massacre Attempt by Ottoman Turks to commit genocide on Armenian Christians from 1915 -1917 1.5 million Armenians killed
The Ukraine Stalin s attempt to collectivize farms in the Soviet Union were resisted in the Ukraine Stalin attempted to punish Ukrainians by starving them Resulted in the death of more than 5 million people
The Holocaust Hitler s final solution resulted in the death of over 6 million European Jews
Rape of Nanking Japanese forces committed human rights abuses against Chinese during the invasion of Manchuria Execution of Chinese prisoners of war Killing of civilians Rape and killing of women Resulted in the death of over 300,000 people Japanese military leaders placed on trial in Tokyo for war crimes at the end of WWII
