premeditation and
deliberation.

Dan finds out that
Victor was the player
who beat him in a
Fortnite battle.
At a stoplight the next
day, Dan sees Victor
riding in the passenger
seat of a nearby car.
Dan pulls out a gun
and fires three shots
killing Dan.
Felony Murder
Any killing that takes
place during the
commission of certain
felonies such as:

Homicide is the killing of one human being by another, which can be criminal, noncriminal, or negligent. It may involve deliberate intent, malice, premeditation, and different degrees of murder like first and second degree. Examples include cases of first degree murder, second degree murder, and felony murder during the commission of certain felonies like robbery or burglary.

First Degree Murder Dan finds out that Victor was the player who beat him in a Fortnite battle. Three days later, Dan waits behind a tree near Victor's front door. When Victor comes out of his house, Dan shoots and kills him.
