The White House Press Corps, a group of journalists covering White House news, plays a crucial role in informing the public and holding the administration accountable. Helen Thomas, a trailblazing journalist and the first female member of the White House Correspondents Association, broke barriers for women in journalism and advocated for gender equality in the press. Her questioning style, leadership, and dedication to women's rights have left a lasting impact on American political journalism.
