3. Forskning i akupunktur I Forskning i akupunktur har v ret stigende over en l ngere rr kke. Grafen viser, at der er sket en stigning i antallet af kliniske fors g med akupunktur i perioden 2008 til juni 2020. I 2008 blev der foretaget lidt over 2.000 kliniske fors g. Dette tal var i juni 2020 get til 14.217 kliniske fors g.

5. Nationale retningslinjer I Danmark findes der ogs nationale kliniske retningslinjer, hvor akupunkturbehandling anbefales. Det g lder blandt andet: Retningslinjer for ikke-kirurgisk behandling af nyopst ede nakkesmerter (Sundhedsstyrelsen, 2016b) National klinisk retningslinje for ikke-kirurgisk behandling af nylig opst et lumbal nerverodsp virkning. (Lumbal Radikulopati) (Sundhedsstyrelsen, 2016a) Opioidbehandling af non-maligne smerter (Sundhedsstyrelsen, 2018)

6. Internationale retningslinjer Birch et al, jan 2021 Results By recommending acupuncture as a potential treatment for chronic primary pain, NICE is now in line with clinical guideline recommendations from within the UK nations (Scotland, Wales) and other countries such as the USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Germany, Austria as well as organizations such as the British Pain Society and the European Pain Federation Conclusions The problems of drug dependency especially overuse of opioids and their associated unwanted side effects suggest that non-pharmacological methods that can deal with chronic pain are imperative. Acupuncture provides a bone fide choice particularly as its evidence of effectiveness continues to grow.

8. Akupunktur - tvrfaglige smertecentre i Danmark II Conclusion The majority of the MDC s in Denmark use some kind of acupuncture/NADA even though it is not recommended in the general official guidelines. More than half of the MDC s have a local guideline and are collecting data about the treatments. This data are not included in this survey. All the MDC s have educational requirements.
