In the back of your exercise book... Grammar Starter: Connectives Definition: A word which joins phrases, clauses and sentences together. Example: I was hungry however I did not eat my dinner. James likes mint ice cream. 3) The children walked slowly. They were tired. 4) Six eggs were needed in the recipe. I only had three. 5) The boy forgot his homework. He was given a detention.
