  1. Georges Marvelous Medicine by Roald Dahl Other books by Roald Dahl: James and the Giant Peach Matilda The BFG Charlie and the Chocolate Factory BY JOSH MITCHELL THIS BOOK WILL MAKE YOU LAUGH AND WANT TO READ MORE AT THE SAME TIME!

  2. Genre The genre is fantasy. The book I m reading is about a boy named George. He has no brothers or sisters, and lives on a farm that is not near any other kids. He spends a lot of time with his Grandma, who is really mean. He says his grandma is a grizzly old grunion of a grandma . George thinks of a crazy idea to make his Grandma nice like Grandmas are supposed to be.

  3. Setting The story takes place on a farm, in a house. There are 4 characters: George, his mom and dad and grandma. His Grandma is mean and the rest are nice. George s plan was to make a magic medicine that will cure his grandmother s mean-ness. He will do it when his mom and dad are not home, and it is just George and his Grandma. George decides to give his grandma a magic medicine because her medicine doesn t work. He plans to give it to her at 11 oclock, the time he is supposed to give her the regular medicine. George is excited.

  4. Plot Summary George puts things in from all over the house like soap and hair gel to clean her and to cure her. First he goes to the bathroom and grabs things from there. Next he goes in his mom s room and after that he goes to his father s tool shed where he grabs animal pills and dumps them in his mixture. As he looks in the pot the color of the medicine is rainbow. Grandma s medicine should be the color brown. He goes to his father s garage to get the brown paint to put in it. As he is walking there he sees anti freeze and motor oil and decides to dump them in to his medicine mixture too. Then he took the heavy pot inside. There were still animal pills at the bottom of the pot! He puts the pot on the stove and turns on the stove on to cook it.

  5. Plot Summary (continued) After he boils the mixture he dumps out grandma s real medicine and pours his medicine into her bottle. He has 5 more minutes to wait until it is her medicine time. His grandma says George give me my medicine, your forgetting me. Not yet , said George. Now he waits. He thinks about what will happen. Two more minutes left. It s 11 oclock. George puts the cork in her medicine and shakes his mixture. He gives the medicine to her and she drinks it. She screams, I m on fire!!!!
