Workshop objectives At the end of the 3-day workshop, participants will be equipped to: Identify Identify gender inequalities and gender gaps in their field of expertise. Describe Describe why gender matters in climate change adaptation in agriculture. Integrate Integrate gender criteria into the assessment of adaptation options. Conduct Conduct gender-responsive monitoring of adaptation programs in agriculture.
Overview of training approach Approach focuses on process as well as outputs. Builds on participants experiences as much as possible. Activities may challenge our perceptions, values, beliefs and behaviours through sharing ideas with other participants

Logistics Opening, closing times, tea/coffee break. Location for coffee breaks and lunches/dinners, break out rooms, and toilets. Other matters (e.g. accommodation, per diems, field trips).
Needs Assessment Key findings from needs assessment: 50 people in Ministry were surveyed. 50% requested basic concepts on gender and climate change 75% requested gender-sensitive budgeting, monitoring and reporting
