Introduction

The GEF Ridge to Reef (R2R) Programme, a multi-
agency initiative involving UNDP, FAO and UNEP was
developed to guide the strategic investment aimed at
achieving the sustainable development of PICs within
a truly integrated environmental & natural resource
management framework.
Challenges in Moving Forward

High staff turn-over

Poor project design
•
Delays in fund transfer
•
Limited local technical expertise
