The Father, Son and Spirit were happy in themselves, and enjoyed one another before the world was . But the Father so enjoyed his fellowship with his Son that he wanted to have the goodness of it spread out and communicated or shared with others. What does it mean to be made in the Image of God
Just as powerful earthly kings, to indicate their claim to dominion, erect an image of themselves in the provinces of their empire where they do not personally appear, so man is placed upon earth in God's image as God s sovereign emblem.
