Ive only ever used MLA. How do I write a paper in APA format?
Citation styles arent as scary as they seem. You and your tutor can look over the APA citation guidelines together. Then we can practice writing out your in-text citations and your references.
My professor left comments on my draft, but how do I implement them into my paper?
We got you! Bring in the assignment instructions, your paper, and your professors feedback. We can talk about how to incorporate the feedback, or come up with some specific questions to ask your professor during their office hours!
I have some idea of what I want to write about for my paper, but where do I start?
We love brainstorming! Your tutor can listen while you talk it out, and offer some suggestions for how to synthesize your thoughts and write an outline.

Understanding Language Learning Models (LLMs) As OpenAI like ChatGPT grows in popularity, it is important that we understand how to use these writing tools effectively, and what their limitations are. We use lots of tools to help us write. Word and Google Docs, grammar checkers, and online thesauruses and dictionaries. These tools can do a lot, but they re not always accurate. The same goes for Open AI.
LLMs dont know Context Genre Effective rhetorical strategies How to build the most powerful argument to effectively prove a case and persuade. The nuanced requirements of a particular assignment prompt Audience expectations and culture How current events and histories may impact communication choices Information that exists only in the real world or behind a paywall How particular documents are organized and formatted Common discipline-specific vocabulary and phrasing Correct citation practices
