  1. New ERDDAP Features in v2.12 (released 2021-05-14) Bob Simons DOC / NOAA / NMFS / SWFSC / ERD Monterey, CA bob.simons@noaa.gov

  2. Diagnostics and Protections status.html shows number of "Unique Users (since startup)". More precautions against too much memory being used. New precautions against too many open files. And status.html shows "Open Files" percent. status.html shows "Too Many" requests. System to prevent one user from making too many simultaneous requests: Settings in datasets.xml: <ipAddressMaxRequests>7</ipAddressMaxRequests> <ipAddressMaxActive>2</ipAddressMaxActive> New <palettes> tag in datasets.xml and cptfiles directory. New findDuplicateTime option in GenerateDatasetsXml.

  3. Dependency Changes Upgraded to Lucene v8.7.0 Upgraded to Netcdf-java v5.4.1 Upgraded to AWS JDK v2 Start using Maven (thanks to Kyle Wilox)

  4. Functional Changes ERDDAP can now read files from private AWS S3 buckets. EDDGridFromNcFiles can now read "structures" in .nc4 and .hdf5.
