Welcome to Primary 5 Welcome to Primary 5 Hope you enjoy the time in P5 we ve got some things written down that you ll be doing!
Literacy Literacy In literacy we do SRA, poems, posters, leaflets, prediction tasks, diaries, comic strips, question maker tasks, summarising, grammar recap, spelling activities, spelling, newspaper reports and imaginary stories!
Maths Maths In maths you will do Percentages, Sumdog, money ,fractions ,divison, multiplication, addition Subtraction , decimal number , time, mental maths strategies, times table, data handling, problem solving, co-ordinates, compass points, 2D shapes and 3D, measure, area
Topic Topic Term 1: Human body, life in a burgh town Term 2: Book focus: wonder, enterprise. Term 3: Steven Brown art work, forces, famous scientists Term 4: Natural disasters, sex education
School trips In P5 your trips will be Camp , National Museum of Scotland, triathlon, swimming, handball, careers fair, basketball
Our magic moments!!! Our magic moments are School camp, meet the teachers, Halloween disco, Christmas parties, playing ocarinas, swimming, Museum of Scotland, blink murder.
