Dogs dont do Ballet by Anna Kemp Illustrated by Sara Ogilvie A PowerPoint presentation by Maia Saguna (Year 5 Roses)
A girl had this dog that wasn t like other ordinary dogs. He didn t do dog stuff like weeing on lampposts, scratching his fleas or drinking out of the toilet. If the girl threw him a stick, he just looked at her like she was crazy, so she had to fetch it herself.
No, her dog likes music and moonlight and walking on his tiptoes. As you can see, her dog doesn t think he s a dog he thinks he s a ballerina!
When the girl gets ready for her ballet class, Biff the dog looks longingly at her tutu and she just knows he is dreaming of his name in lights. She is always asking her dad if Biff can come to her ballet class with her but her dad always tells her DOGS DON T DO BALLET! .
Will Biff ever get to dance ballet? If you want to find out, I bought my book from Paris but you can buy yours from the Internet. I know that you would love it!
