Dobbins Middle School
DRESS CODE
•
Any clothing that exposes the waist,
navel, abdomen, midsection, torso,
back, chest, or other areas
considered private is
strictly
prohibited.
This includes, but is not
limited to crop tops, midriff tops,
low-cut tops, or shirts cut off at the
sides.

Any item that depicts images that are
lewd, offensive, vulgar, obscene, or
advertises alcoholic beverages,
drugs, or other substances is
strictly
prohibited
.

less than 2 inches wide is

prohibited
. This includes, but is
not limited to sleeveless tops,
tank tops, or muscle shirts.

holes must be tight fitting

prohibited. Shirts need to cover
these garments ensuring the
garment is not visible in the front
or back of student.

Sleepwear
(pajamas/slippers) is
strictly prohibited

All shorts, skirts, and dresses
must be mid-thigh in length or
longer.

Hoodies are allowed,
but hoods must remain
down while in the
building.

may be worn inside the building.

This includes, but is not limited to,
caps, hats, hoods, bandanas, wave
caps, sweatbands, sunglasses, or
any other head covering. No
combs, rakes, curlers, or picks can
be worn in the hair.

Hat Day very Friday for $1.
•
Paid students will receive a
sticker that should be attached
to the hat.

that expose skin above the mid-
thigh.

be worn with a top
that fully covers the

Dobbins Middle School has a strict dress code policy in place to maintain a conducive learning environment. The guidelines prohibit clothing that exposes private areas, displays offensive images, or resembles costume wear. Restrictions include strap width, sleepwear, and appropriate length for shorts, skirts, and dresses. Hoods are allowed on hoodies but must be down indoors, and head coverings are not permitted inside the building. Students are reminded to wear pants, shorts, and skirts at the waist with no exposed skin above mid-thigh.
