  6. Advanced Placement vs. Dual Credit AP vs. DC Course that counts as high school credit, and college credit after passing AP exam. More in depth & detailed course, to prepare you for college. AP Taught by on-campus teacher at school. CLASSES Taught by DMC Instructor, either at school or on-campus. College level course to jumpstart your college career. DUAL CREDIT College course that counts as high school and college credit. Note: College & Universities set their own standards for awarding college credit based on the score earned on the AP exam.
