Sample of comments: I don t drive and it s really hard to get to the hospital and as it s hard to get through on the phone to see if it s in you have to take your chance and hope. The parking and the wait time is ridiculous should be free to collect prescriptions. Please can liquid melatonin be picked up from a local pharmacy. No communication with the team at all- could be a waste of trip to GWH. It s always incredibly busy and noisy which is distressing for our send children. Queues are huge which don t help. There must be an easier way to manage this. Prescriptions are only kept there for 2 wks. But we never know when GWH send them as it can be immediately or take 2 wks. If we miss that window, we have to start again. If we are on holiday and need those meds for when we get back, we may miss that window. I have this as an adult too getting my own. When there are 3 of us in this situation in same household, it is a logistical nightmare. Trying to get through is hard and then they cannot wait to get off the phone. Instructions given for new medication is barely given and if you dare ask a question, they make you feel really put out and do give conflicting info sometimes i.e, melatonin must always be kept in fridge, then another staff there questioned why I was refrigerating it when I shouldn't have been. I am reliant on two bus journeys to get repeat medication and 2 home but cannot get it sent to a more local boots for me. I have to be able to see if meds are there before I collect and as they won't keep all 3 of ours for same collection time, 3 journeys are needed every month. Powered by
