Course Description Continuing awareness and tracking of self growth in an individual and a health team context while on their clinical rotations; familiarization and awareness of integrative/complementary /alternative forms of health perspective and care
Competency Track awareness of self growth as a health professional Content Personal views on becoming a doctor . Learning Activity Reflections at the end of every clinical rotation . Evaluation Submitted personal reflection paper . Start of a journal/ diary for the course
End rotation Reflection paper The report shall include any of the following: 1. Thoughts and feelings about the rotation 2. Insights about the rotation and its impact on personal growth as a health professional 3. Questions raised by the experience 4. Other inputs pertinent to professionalism 5. Experience with use of integrative medicine if any
Competency Track awareness of self growth as a health professional Content Reflections on the UPCM Vision/ Mission Learning Activity Viewing of two videos : 1. Commencement address of Atty Chel Diokno to Class 2020 2. Glimpse into the day of a UP graduate who opted to join the DTTB program Submitted group reflection paper [ groups of 3 to 4 will discuss the video and be sounding board to each other ] Evaluation

COMPETENCY Demonstrate leadership roles in health activities CONTENT Leadership/ Management Team work LEARNING ACTIVITYLiason officer role to be distributed to all members of the group as it rotates in the various clinics during rotations EVALUATION Peer evaluation [ informal]
COMPETENCY Appropriately use traditional healing forms and integrate it in the clinical care of patients CONTENT Orientation to traditional and integrative medicine Filipino traditional healing forms Chinese traditional medicine Energy healing and Body mind medicine LEARNING ACTIVITY Lecture demo = Traditional Chinese Acupuncture; Integrative Medicine, Salutogenesis / health optimization EVALUATION Participation in activities
EVALUATION : To PASS Submission of the required journal diary at the end of the first and second semester. FAILURE = non submission of ANY of the requirements
