  1. Wrestle for the Faith! Jude 1-3

  2. Jude, a slave of Jesus Christ and a brother of James: To those who are the called, loved by God the Father and kept by Jesus Christ. Jude 1 HCSB

  3. May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you. Jude 2 HCSB

  4. Dear friends, although I was eager to write you about the salvation we share, I found it necessary to write and exhort you to contend for the faith that was delivered to the saints once for all. Jude 3 HCSB

  5. For some men, who were designated for this judgment long ago, have come in by stealth; they are ungodly, turning the grace of our God into promiscuity and denying Jesus Christ, our only Master and Lord. Jude 4 HCSB

  6. Are You Contending for the Faith?

  7. and He has kept, with eternal chains in darkness for the judgment of the great day, the angels who did not keep their own position but deserted their proper dwelling. In the same way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them committed sexual immorality and practiced perversions, just as angels did, and serve as an example by undergoing the punishment of eternal fire. Jude 6 7 HCSB

  8. Nevertheless, these dreamers likewise defile their flesh, reject authority, and blaspheme glorious ones. Jude 8 HCSB

  9. But you, dear friends, remember what was predicted by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; they told you, In the end time there will be scoffers walking according to their own ungodly desires. These people create divisions and are unbelievers, not having the Spirit. Jude 17 19 HCSB

  10. What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace might increase? May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? Romans 6:1 2 NASB

  11. Our Problem with Wrestling is a Problem with Love

  12. Finally, be strengthened by the Lord and by His vast strength. Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the Devil. For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens. Ephesians 6:10 12 HCSB

  13. for the weapons of our warfare are not merely human, but they have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and every proud obstacle raised up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to obey Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:4 5 NRSV

  14. I ask that when I am present I need not show boldness by daring to oppose those who think we are acting according to human standards. Indeed, we live as human beings, but we do not wage war according to human standards; 2 Corinthians 10:2 3 NRSV

  15. What is the Reward for Contending for the Faith?

  16. Mercy, Peace, and Love Multiplied

  17. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31 ESV
