  45. Care and Maintenance Each breast form will have its own care instructions; you should include this with your patient education materials upon delivery. Generally, wash in lukewarm water with mild soap, rinse thoroughly, and air dry in its container to maintain shape. Adhesive back forms may require special cleansers.
